Welcome to our Data & Analytics page, where we break down the key metrics and portfolio insights that TAO.BOT provides. By presenting both system-wide data and user-specific analytics, we ensure everyone—from long-term stakers to active traders—has the information they need for informed decision-making.

Platform Metrics

TAO.BOT tracks several global metrics to showcase overall platform health and activity:

  • TVL (Total Value Locked):
The aggregate value of assets held on TAO.BOT, including on-site TAO and staked tokens across subnetwork liquidity pools.

  • Total Volume Swapped:
A cumulative measure of how much value has been traded on the platform since launch.

  • Daily Volume:
The total trading volume over a 24-hour window, reflecting the platform’s short-term activity and liquidity.

Note: Some of these metrics (such as volume) may also be used to calculate protocol revenue, which factors into our Revenue Sharing for $TAOBOT holders.

User Portfolio Metrics

Each user has a portfolio that highlights their on-site assets and trading performance. Within your Portfolio page, you can view:

  1. Holdings Table:

    • Subnetwork Token ID & Name: Identifies the AI-focused subnet.
    • Token Amount & USD Value: Shows how many tokens you hold, along with an estimated USD valuation for PnL tracking.
    • APY & Price Changes: Estimated annual percentage yield (reflecting the subnet’s inflation) and 1hr/24hr price changes.
    • Dominance: The token’s relative share of the network market cap.
  2. Staked vs. Unstaked TAO Balance:

    • Staked TAO is locked for yielding benefits, while unstaked TAO remains tradable or withdrawable.
    • No Liquid Staking is offered at launch—users must unstake to trade or withdraw.
  3. Inflation vs. Price Dynamics:

    • Many subnetwork tokens inflate over time. While this can push token prices downward, user balances in those tokens increase proportionally, offsetting potential price drops.
  4. Global PnL:

    • A summary of your entire portfolio’s profit/loss in USD terms, considering both price movements and token inflation.
    • Updated in real-time as markets fluctuate.

By clicking on any position, you can open a detailed view containing time series charts for both price and token balance. This is especially useful for subnetwork tokens which all grow with inflation.

Transaction & Liquidity Data

Transaction History

A comprehensive transaction table helps you keep track of every deposit, withdrawal, trade, and staking/unstaking action. The table typically includes:

  • TxID: A reference ID (with links to block explorers where applicable).
  • Type: Deposit, withdrawal, buy, sell, stake, unstake, etc.
  • Timestamp: When the transaction occurred.
  • From Currency → To Currency: Shows the assets involved in the trade or conversion.
  • Value: The numerical amount (often displayed in both token and USD terms).
  • Status: Pending, completed, or failed.

Subnetwork Liquidity & Stats

On the Explore page, users can browse a list of all subnets. For each subnet, the platform displays:

  • Subnet ID & Symbol
  • Dominance & Market Cap (if applicable)
  • Price & 24H Change
  • 24H Volume (On-Chain)

Enhanced subnetwork pages go further by providing advanced charts, banners, and community sentiment votes—especially when the subnet owner has opted into our Enhanced Token Info package.

How This Data Informs Your Strategy

  • Monitoring TVL & Volume: Evaluate how active and liquid the platform is. Higher volumes can imply stronger liquidity, which reduces slippage when trading.
  • Price vs. Inflation: Subnetwork tokens may experience downward price pressure due to emission, but user balances continuously increase. Tracking both price charts and token balance charts helps you understand your net position.
  • Referral & Revenue Insights: Users tracking platform-wide volume can estimate the potential commission payouts from referrals or revenue sharing (via $TAOBOT).

Future Enhancements

As TAO.BOT grows, we plan to roll out additional analytics centered on Bittensor-specific insights, such as:

  • Deeper Subnetwork Analytics: Expanded data for each subnet, including historical inflation rates, advanced AI usage stats, and specialized performance metrics.
  • Custom Reports & Notifications: User-defined alerts for price movements, bridging confirmations, or key events.
  • Specialized Tools for Bittensor: Tailored charts and dashboards that go beyond typical DeFi charting, helping users fully grasp the dynamics of AI subnetwork tokens.

Conclusion

Our Data & Analytics features aim to give you the transparency and insight needed to thrive in the dTAO ecosystem. Whether you’re tracking subnetwork tokens for inflation-driven growth or measuring protocol-level activity, TAO.BOT ensures you have real-time data at your fingertips.
