TAO.BOT’s Referral System lets you invite friends to join the platform and earn rewards in the process. Whether you’re an enthusiastic user or community advocate, sharing your unique referral link helps newcomers save on fees while you earn a commission.
Why Referrals?
- Fee Discounts: New users who apply your referral code get a 10% discount on platform fees (e.g., trading, bridging).
- Commissions for You: As the referrer, you earn a 10% commission on the fees they pay—accrued directly in TAO.
- Community Growth: The system incentivizes community-driven expansion, ensuring more liquidity, trading, and subnet engagement.
Generating Your Referral Code
To get your referral code or link:
- Go to Your Portfolio → Referrals
- Click “Generate Referral Code” (if we haven’t automatically generated one).
- Copy the Link/Code
- Share it on social media, chat groups, or via direct messages.
- Track Your Dashboard
- You’ll see unclaimed earnings, total volume from referrals, and number of referred users in real time.
Note: We do not currently support custom codes—a unique code is assigned to each user.
Applying a Referral Code
New or existing users can apply a referral code on their Referrals page:
- Enter Code: Paste the code or link in the provided field.
- Discount Confirmation: Once validated, you’ll see a note saying you have a 10% fee discount, courtesy of
ReferrerName. - Persistence: This code cannot be changed once locked in, so choose wisely!
Fee Calculation & Commissions
- Fee Discount: If the base fee is
X, referees pay only0.9Xthanks to the 10% discount. - Referrer Commission: Referrers earn 10% of that
0.9X, credited as TAO. - Tracking & Dashboard: Commission accumulates in real time and appears on your Referral Dashboard.

Claiming Your Rewards
- Accumulate in TAO: Commissions are stored in TAO until you decide to claim (once you meet any minimum thresholds).
- Single-Click Claim: A “Claim” button in your Referral Dashboard triggers the deposit of your earned TAO into your on-site balance.
- Transaction History: Each claim event is logged with a date, amount, and final balance update.
Referral Dashboard Overview
Your Referral Dashboard typically displays:
- Number of Referred Users
- Total Earnings in TAO
- Unclaimed Commission
- Trading Volume from Referrals
- Basic Graphs (time series for earnings, user join rates, etc.)
Access it anytime from your Portfolio → Referrals to see how your code is performing.
Disclaimers & Policies
- No Code Switching: Once a user associates a referral code, it cannot be changed (or only under special circumstances).
- Minimum Claim Threshold: Some reward thresholds may apply (e.g., 10 USD in TAO) before claiming is allowed.
- System Adjustments: We may tweak discounts or commissions in future updates to maintain a balanced ecosystem.
